Lot of psychics could recall their past lives, and some could also recall what happens between two lives... most of them seem to agree on the fact that we choose the life we want to live based on some options, we prepare our chart and decide what kind of experiences we want to get from a particular life. After we make this decision we come to live that life in this world. The element of time doesn't exist on the other side. After reading experiences of these lucky bunch of people, I wondered sometimes why there is huge time gap between two lives sometimes, or why we just don't remember what happens in that huge time gap. There is also a belief that we only recall those past lives that we need to recall, or that affects us in this lifetime.
I was sitting in my patio one day last month, and suddenly I started thinking that we don't always come to this world called Earth to gain experiences. We must also be going to some other parallel worlds to gain completely different kinds of experiences. We always think that we have to balance our Karmas (or gain enough experience and do enough learning) to stop coming to this world. We don't need to come back to this world and get a human birht again since there is nothing that we can learn from this life system. I personally relate this to something called "Dev" in Hindu religion, you raise yourself from Human race to Devata. This is infact more learned souls, but I think they also need to goto some other worlds to gain different kinds of experiences. Probably we also goto different worlds in between our human births. There must be an End to all this sometime - but that is a different issue altogether. If there exists multiple worlds, why should we worry too much about the end of life on Earth, non-existence of human race... this will happen sometime, because there is not much that this planet can teach our souls... this may be better for our souls... but we will see each other on some other planet or something else where life exists in a completely different form and we probably will have more advanced souls going there...

New Perspective
These days I am reading "The Psychic Child", a book written by Sylvia Browne. This is an excellent book, and is very interesting. I definitely recommend reading this book to everyone, it will provide a new perspective to life.
I have read a lot about after life and reincarnation. I am very attracted to these topics, and have started believing in a few things based on my readings. This book is not very different than others in this aspect, but it definitely gives insights about a lot of para-psychological things that happen to a lot of people.
Couple of points have shaken me up, and I keep thinking about these since I read them. Firstly, I believed that we all human have to go through a cycle of rebirth for a fixed number of times (84 Lacs or 8.4 Millions), go through various species, and activate lower level 6 chakras before we can attain human birth. We do not have wisdom to take our decisions in these lives, we are more programmed to react to situations in a way, without having a choice to decide on our own. Through various experiences, we develop the lower 6 chakras, and then we never go back to those lower level species (animals). Once we become human, we need to develope 7 chakras to get out of this cycle of rebirths, and attain a higher level of species. This could be similar to what we refer as Devata in Hindu scriptures, and Angeles in western cultures. This all seem to fit with the Hindu religious belief system, and might be similar to what Gita says.
Contrary to this, this book says that there is life on the other side. That is our real life, and we come to human life to gain various experiences. That seems right so far. Then the book says that we are humans on the other side too. If we are spirits, why should we tie ourselves to a human or non-human? The book says, our lives on earth are like boot camps that we take to learn few things and grow ourselves. We become evolved species, but we will always remain humans. On the other side, we have Angels and animals both. Angels are much more advanced species than humans, but we will never become Angeles. Doesn't feel good, does it?? The Animals are much more advanced souls than humans. This definitely doesn't sound right at this time.
The book describes so many details about the other side, about some buildings on other side to be specific. This other side is really amongst us, just about 3 ft above the earth. We cannot see the souls on the other side since it operates at much higher frequency than us, that's why we cannot see or hear them. From what I have read in the past, I thought we need to lower our brain frequency to tune in with nature, tune in with our inner self. Brain has much more capabilities when it goes to lower frequencies. When brain goes into alpha state, beta state, etc., it can do astral travel, remember past lives. We bring the brain frequency down even during meditation. It would be very interesting to read the other book written by Sylvia Browne, the book is called "Life on the other side". I will write more on this topic once I read this other book after finishing the current book.

What is it with the old age
We come to life in a pure form, we don't hate anyone, probably don't love anyone. We are physically dependent on others, etc. I think we go through a circle, we get to know our surroundings, train our brain, and get into system. We learn all worldly things, attach ourselves to people and things, that might really not matter beyond this life, or even for this life if we can believe so.
When time comes, we probably start preparing for our departure from this world, lot of us slowly get to the state we came to the world. We start getting dependent on others physically, lot of worldly things stop bothering us, we stop caring for career, money, etc. We stop caring for what others say and think about us, slowly we start getting indifferent to even the people around us whom we considered closest.
There are few things about this old age that came to my mind, they are not necessarily right or wrong, but they are just thoughts. Everyone loves infants, we literally take care of them the whole day, clean their shit, feed them, etc., but we don't take that good care of old people in the same state. Why is that? Why do we even see the difference in our love towards the two?
What is the reason that we go through this cycle? Do we really have to learn something from this? When we get old, do we really understand this or we don't understand this and just live it out? If we know that we are going to go through this cycle, why the hell are we attached to all the materialistic matters?
If people do not understand the purpose of their life even when they get older, then why do they attempt so much to live as long as possible even after the fact (which they know) that their life is almost over, and adding couple of more years is really not going to make anything better but just increase suffering?
Some authors in some of the books opined that we cannot live this world until we have done the learning we were supposed to do here in this life and are not ready to go back with our lessons. We might be undecisive about this and might go to intermediate states (like Comma), but still can't live the world. Is this really true? If so, we really know why we are here and what we need to get from this life, but it's just how to sync our physical and non-physical selves... Is it just that???
